Need some advice for settling on a power backup system for pc my specs are an rtx 3080 and 5700x3d at max load including monitor and everything it's 600w at most with requirements for minimum 1:30hr backup time while gaming.
Treat me like a newbie as I've been gaming on laptop up untill now recently and this backup system is only for my pc.

APC is the gold standard for UPS's and the always online pure sinewave UPS's are the gold standard within APC at least for home/small office usage. But truth be told, over the past decade their quality has been slipping but I still can't recommend any other brand. Also if you decide to purchase APC, buy from a local reseller because they will help you with maintenance/AMC etc.

Also you are not going to get 1:30h backup time for a 600W load for cheap. I don't think there's any UPS within 30k which would give you a backup time of 90 minutes on full load. You will have to cut your expectation on that. At best, you will get 10-15 mins of backup to safely shutdown the system.

And don't just calculate the power of GPU+CPU for arriving at the wattage. Also include the monitor/other peripherials and leave a 10% margin on that.
P.S You can consider inverters as well but they are not great option for long term health of a computer.

You probably need to use a pure sine wave inverter.
600w * 1.5h = 900wh battery required.

I had luminous zelio 1100 inverter with 12v 150ah lead acid battery. Manufacturer mentions it can handle 756w. But lead acid battery cannot sustain that much load for long. And i doubt inverter can handle 700+w. On my corsair 550w psu, the inverter overload when I press power button. But second time power press, pc turns on. Surge current might be a problem on my PSU. But no problem when electricity turns off. Inverter easily takes over.

Maybe go for higher kva inverter if you do so. And maybe c10 lead acid battery.

Just sharing my experience.
