Suggest some network cards

Yesterday it was raining in Mumbai and due to lighting my onboard network card is not working.

Did everything and finally came to a conslution that its gone :(

Suggest me some external network cards please
 
Well, Day before yesterday the same thing happened to me. I was using the Pc and a very bright lightning I saw through the window and my display just went black and HDD lights went off too. I was so scared that it burned my mobo or gfx card. Upon restart everything worked fine but later on I found out that the LED for LAN connection is not working anymore. But LAN still works. I hope nothing else is wrong as of now.

If Gigabit Lan is important to you then you could get a Netgear Gigabit Lan Card, or else get any el cheapo 100 mbps Pci card, like intex. My old Lan card from intex going fine even after 5 yrs :hap2:
 
same problem my frnd is facing...

his onboard realtek card got kaput...

now he has to buy new lan card...

can any 1 suggest external LAN card which supports 64-bit drivers ?? he is using Vista x64 SP1
