Suggest speech recognition software

One of my friends is looking for a speech recognition software freeware or licensed but not very costly. It must recognize Indian accent. Please suggest some good ones.
 
Proprietary tools like Dragon Naturally Speaking & Sonic Extractor are good options. Some Open Source softwares like SHoUT & Sphinx are also available, but their Voice pattern recognition engine & performance may not be on par with the proprietary ones.

I did check the dragon one which is costly ($100) while the Sonic extractor is not financially viable ($35000)..

Do you know anything about Tazti.. There is a sale its like $30 now
 
there is something called sphinx voice recognition engine...which is open source
