Suggest suitable laptop

[font=arial, helvetica, sans-serif]Hello all..

Need your assistance in deciding on which laptop to buy. This would be my first personal laptop.

Is i3 with 1G graphics sufficient or i5 would be better choice. I would be using at home with few VMware lab machines for my learning..

Budget 30-35K INR.

found below i5 with graphics ones... open to other suggestions.

VMware depends totally on CPU + RAM. So, I'd seriously suggest you to get an i5 and skip i3. 4GB RAM will be on for now. (you said learning purpose, so its fine).

I'll personally suggest you to go increase your budget by 4k and go with Asus K53SM-SX010D as its a perfect mix of processing power plus good enough GPU (2GB 630M) which will fufill your gaming needs, if any, to the max.

If you can't increase your budget, then you will have to sacrifice GPU.

From your options: (first correct your link)

1) Lenovo Ideapad G570 - I prefer Asus anyday over Lenovo.

2) HP 430 - NEVER to HP

3) Used Ideapad G570 - A serious NO to used laptops.

Thanks #JuGGa

Have found one Asus model in my budget.

And its for casual usage and for learning purpose (VMware), not much gaming.

Whould one would you guys suggest... open for other opetions as well. Budget 35K INR

Yes, i5 will be easily able to handle basic HD video editing. HD3000 is good. But if you can wait for IB going mainstream, it will be much fruitful for you as it has got HD4000 which is almost twice better than HD3000.
