SUGGEST: Weak WiFi problem

Friends,

My father's PC is in next-next room. It has Netgear PCI Wifi Lan card with single antenna.
So he is having weak signal with random drops.

Should I buy a Wifi Lan card with double antenna or a antenna extension cable ?

you can also try USB wifi LAN Adapter.
It will cost you Rs. 250-300

Easy to install and use. Just plugin in any USB port.

Which wireless router do you have? A good idea would be to buy another router and set it up in client mode and hook it up to the PC.

Kindly mention the make of the router, the distance between the router and the wifi card and the thickness of the wall. A layout would be great.

A sure quickfire solution would be to change the router and the card.
