In that budget you've got some good options. Linksys WRT610N or the Asus RT-N16. I've been using the WRT610N v2 for a while now. Good coverage. I sometimes used to get range in the parking of my old society. My flat was on the sixth floor!! Lol. Of course, I've been using DD-WRT for the NAS/torrenting capability right from day one, but I've heard that the wireless performance on stock firmware is better.
