Suggest wifi router for vaio E16 (win 7 64-bit)

I have a linksys WRT54Gv7 router connected to desktop (vista), and a HP laptop (win XP). Recently I purchased a vaio E-16 laptop with win 7. Whenever I try to connect my vaio with this router, the display lights keep flickering at short intervals and I am unable to have a steady internet connection with either my desktop or my HP laptop until I disconnect my vaio from the router.

Can you guys suggest any solution to the above problem? Or do I have to purchase a new router compatible with win 7 and the earlier microsoft windows versions?

Hi,

Pls get a firmware upgrade for your router and try again, if does not resolve problem, try disable firewall on your WIN 7 lappy.

If both fails to work, it might some failure/problem in your router.

If you wanted to buy a new router, i will recommend you Edimax router which has gr8 performance and local support with 3 years warranty.
