Graphic Cards Suggesting my friend on new GPU...

Dear all,

thanks for all your previous suggestions. my friend, wants to upgrade his GPU. His system is Dell make. I request you to suggest us on the move to buy a new GPU. Here are the details. :)

1. What is your budget?
> 5-10k

2. Current rig Specs
>CPU- I3- first generation
>Motherboard-
Board: Dell Inc. 033FF6 A00
Serial Number: ..CN7360403100LW.
Bus Clock: 133 megahertz
BIOS: Dell Inc. A03 02/01/2010
RAM- 4gb
Monitor- dell 17' inches

3. Which PSU/SMPS will you be using? Rating + Brand
>Till now i had stock. I'll upgrade based on new GPU.

4. Primary use? (Casual gaming, Hardcore gaming, Just for display, Movies/HTPC)
>Movies, Moderate to extreme gaming

5. What resolution do you game on?
>Best possible

6. Interested in Crossfire/SLI?
>No please

7. Open to both Nvidia/ATI?
>Yes :D

For you screen size any more than an AMD HD 6670 would be an overkill.It is priced around 4.5-5k.

Also do check if your PSU has enough spare power for the GPU.

^^ Yes this is a steal indeed, OP do look at this one. It'll run on a FSP Saga II 500W ~ 2600/- [you leave a little window for future upgrades, hard drives].

Else the HD 6670 is what you should look at paired with a CX V2 430W.

2nd that... GS 600 claims to give 48A on the 12V and is certified for a 6850 Crossfire setup..Since the OP clearly mentions he has no multi gpu setup in mind...clearly an overkill
