I am going to buy a new HDTV. Need suggestion which would be the best. Would be good if you could provide reviews of your suggested product.

Here are the things i am looking for:

1. Budget : Less than 1 Lacs.

2. Viewing distance : 12 feet to 20 feet.

3. Sources/inputs such as HD DTH/consoles/stand-alone media players etc : HD STB, Game Consoles.

4. Preference for plasma TV/LCD TV/LED-LCD TV : 3D LED TV.

5. Preference for brands : Samsung , Sony(dont like it much) , any other if its worth.

6. Willing to purchase it from the grey market : No.

7. Ambient lighting conditions of the room : Intermediate.

8. Any other feature you are looking for such as 3D support on the HDTV, DLNA capabilities etc : Need 3D , WIFI , Internet etc.

One HDTV that i liked is Samsung 48H6400 2014 . http://www.samsung.com/in/support/model/UA48H6400ARLXL
Havn"t took a closer look at others. So suggestions are welcome.

If you need 3D, passive ones like LG, Sony are better. It is generally accepted that 3D is not used as much as it is promoted.

LG 6xxx series, Samsung 6xxx series are good. Lower budget LG 58xx & Samsung 5xxx are decent.

Sony's extended warranty is the cheapest. LG provides good SAS.

Take some content & check out a few sets in a shop.

I recently brought the 48h6300 from eBay for 67k, it was also available for 60k, but opted for this for a promo offer.decent quality, smart features work slow but screen mirroring works flawlessly.sound pretty loud for a led, the 48h6400 which is a 3d variant the same bundles with two glasses and the smart remote,I personally loathe 3d but the smart remote would have been a great add-on, would have brought it if knew it before hand.this model is for about 68k, of course grey pieces with dealer warranty but price differential in a range of approximately 30-35k to official so I think definitely worth it.I got sealed pieces, had also ordered a 40h5500 too, pretty happy with the purchases and the viewing angles are awesome!

Personally wouldn't buy a TV on eBay. If you live in the same place as the seller, better option would be to ask if you can see the piece before payment.
