Suggestion for a Graphic card for a first timer

My Config:

AMD athlon II x4 635

Asus Eveo motherboard

2gbDDR 3 ram

benq 2420HD monitor.

I think i will have change my smps. Please suggest a good one between 1-1.5k

And a graphic card within 6-8k.

Would like to play the latest games but wouldn't mind playing them at a bit lower resolution.

PSU- FSP SAGA II 350W should fall in your budget

Graphichs Card- If new you can go for Radeon HD 5670 & HD 5750 between your budget for GPU. Strech your budget a little you can get HD 5770 which goes up to Mid-level gaming PC. All these cards are DX11 compliant so in a way future-proof.

You can check websites of theitwares or primeabgb.com , will get better idea of prices.

You'd be better off with the Gigabyte Superb 460W (~ 2.2k) and a 5670 512MB (~ 5.4k). But if you can stretch your budget a bit then get the Sapphire/MSI/powercolor HD5750 (7.5k) which would suit your monitor better

If 9k for the GPU alone then the Sapphire HD5770 1GB GDDR5 ~ 8.8k-9k

what is the difference between Sapphire HD5770 1GB GDDR5 and Radeon HD 5770?
