Laptops suggestion for a new laptop

friends i am planning to but a new HP Pavilion dv9312TX Entertainment Notebook PC...friends i needed ur expert suggestion for purchasing this laptop...atleast it should not get old or outdated by next 3 years...and yes friends plzzz tell me how is the graphic card inside it..will it be able to play good games like nfs carbon, halo2 ...plzzz freinds i need ur expert advice before investing a huge amount to the dealer..

The model you have selected is awesome and I have just purchased this one with dv6226tx. :P

The lappy is great so is the graphics card. The only drawback is weight, which I think is normal with a 17" screen.

But please look for a better price as you are stating a price of 74k+ all included, whereas I bought this model just a week back for only 68k all inclusive. Even if you are not from Delhi (which seems obvious as you have stated a tax of 12%), the model must cost you below 72k.
 
What is the application of this laptop.

17'' one are best suited as desktop replacement and are not good option if you wanna take your laptop around with you.

Also see if you can ask dealer and go for just 512mb ram and save some money. After you get the laptop go out and purchase 2x1GB and sell off the 512mb that comes with laptop. You really should have 2GB installed with vista ultimate.
 
friends i am looking for a desktop alternative.....yes a pc for casual gaming and for projects but i dont intend to take pc quite often along with me...
