i recently purchased a hd6870 and its boiling in my local cabby:ashamed:

and is badly bottlenecking so i have decided to buy a cabby and a good cpu cooler

yeah i can even upgrade to quad but just waiting for zambezi

so till then i am going to overclock my proccy to its full potential..

and tell me that cooler which in future works with my bulldozer too:ohyeah:

needs a good cabby having front usb3.0 :P

if not then also works:S

my budget is around 10k

can extend accord. to the needs

my config is

e7400

g31m-es2l

2gb ddr2 800mhz

stock cooler

hd6870

Take a look at CM HAF-X...from the reviews..its full tower with plenty of room for cooling..also have big fans..and front usb 3.0 too..not sure about the price here...and about the cooler wait for others suggestions..

Edit: CM HAF-X looks way too much expensive.may not fit in your budget..

NZXT Tempest Evo ~ 5700

Noctua NH-U12P-SE2 ~ 3700

i too agree, but instead of that cooler i would rather get the H60 and save a chunk of space, and i gives a more better look from the window and also it is in par with cooling.

Take a look at the Lancool K63 that Rahul is selling. Has amazing cable management. Comes with 5 fans afaik.

Another option is NZXT Tempest Evo. Bit cheaper, but I think you will have to add some fans.

and how much h60 will cost

and what about its refilling? will it cost more :P

and any other good cabby?
H50 is selling for 3900 and H70 is selling for 4950 so H60 should cost somewhere between 3900 - 4950

AFAIK it hasn't launched in india yet... And even if it will it would cost somewhere around 4.5k

If you dont mind going with WC then i would advice you to buy Antec Kuhler H20 620 instead of H60 as Kuhler H20 620 outperforms H60... the only plus point H60 has over H20 620 is that H60 comes with 5 years warranty...

Currently, the best price I could find for the Corsair H60 was at Newegg for $73.99 plus $7.56 shipping. At that price the Corsair H60 costs slightly more than its closest competitor, the Antec Kuhler H2O 620. The Kuhler H2O 620 can be found directly from Antec for $62.95 plus $11.46 shipping. When it comes to performance the Antec Kuhler H2O 620 was up to 5C cooler than the Corsair H60. To top it all off, the 2 year warranty on the Corsair H60 falls short to that of Antec’s 3 years on the Kuhler H2O 620. The Corsair H60 is a solid product, but it gets beat by its closest competitor when it comes to price, performance and warranty.

Legit Bottom Line: The Corsair Hydro H60 is a solid CPU liquid cooler, but it faces fierce competition in the self-contained water cooling market that is becoming more crowded by the day.

Note: In the review its written that H60 comes with 2 years warranty but Corsair has just recently extended H60 warranty to 5 years...

Corsair A70 CPU Cooler Rs. 3699+ HAF 912 Advanced Rs.6000(front,top 200mm,side 140(optional)) ---9699

or

Cooler Master HAF 922 Rs.6800(front,top 200mm,side 200mm(optional))---10500

Remove front 200mm and place it at side for cooling graphic card

Ask others for compatibility.

and what about its liquid

we can use distilled water???
AFAIK Corsair H50/H60/H70 water doesn't get evaporated or something... Actually H60 doesn't have any kinda water or something in the tubes... the tubes has some kind of coolant like liquid... I just forgot the liquid name... :ashamed:

Edit: Just found the liquid name

Legitreviews said:
The Hydro Series H60 is a closed-loop CPU cooling system that uses low-permeability FEP (Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene) tubing for near-zero evaporation. The liquid is cooled by a custom-designed high static pressure fan, and the newly designed micro-channel cold plate employs a split-flow manifold for optimal cooling efficiency.

The NZXT Tempest EVO is the best bet for the OP, you already get six fans pre-bundled with it, throw that with perfect air-flow and dust-filters, for ~5700/- you can't ask for a better cabinet. Also I think the Noctua NH-U12P-SE2 will be a better buy as it is one of the best 120mm air coolers out on the market, clearence willnot be an issue in the Tempest EVO and the good airflow will make sure the CPU remains cool.

See for yourself and buy according to performance and your comfort with the product.

^^ Your point of view, I've seen an EVO perform (3 friends have bought it) and it has pwned a HAF 922 for me from a long margin, it is cheaper and comes with all its fans pre-installed as well as most important dust-filters. Spacious + durable + cheap = win-win for me.

^^ I've used them both (3 of my pals have the Tempest EVO and two seniors had the HAF 922), and for me the TEMPEST EVO simply won hands down.

Reviews aren't to be followed blindly, trust them yes but not always, also look at the pricing in India HAF 912 Advanced ~ 6200/- and NZXT TEMPEST EVO ~ 5700/- to 6500/-.
