Suggestion for Digital Frame.. budget 4000 INR

Looking for a digital photo frame to gift a friend. Have a max budget of 4K. Please suggest which one to buy. I have checked Letsbuy and could find a wide range of options from 2.5K onwards. Not sure which brand to go for and what features are must have.

Someone who has already purchased digital frame please share your experience.
 
The main feature that is needed is playback from USB stick OR SD/MMC card, with MP3 support. If the screen has other extras like transitions between images, they are a bonus.

It should support also a wide variety of image files, and if it can do video, just gr8.

I dont own a digital frame, but this is from my friends experience, who has one. His does not play MP3, nor video. Its a cheap chinese knockoff that he got.
 
Thanks. So features i want is usb support + pics transition.. optional features would be mp3 + video support.

Since i want to gift a friend, will stay away from chinese products. I can see lots of brand like transcend, viewsonic with plenty of models within similar price range.. So not sure of which one to choose. Can anyone help handpick few models which i can then search reviews for..
 
If you can, try to get something from the US. These are far cheaper there than here. Otherwise, here your options are pretty much limited to the Transcends and Cromas own range (which are Chinese again btw). I also remember seeing Philips models (7") for around that price range.
