Suggestion for gaming PC @ 20k (excluding monitor & speakers)

thanks to all for make my decision clear

i have bought following configuration

Processor -intel core i3 2100 @ Rs.5950

Motherboard - Intel BOX DH67BL @ Rs.5250 (thanks to viralbug)

RAM -4 Gb corsair XMS3 DDR3 1600MHz ~ Rs.1750

HardDisk - 1tb seagate baracuda @ Rs.2850

Power supply - Corsair CX430 v2 @ Rs.2350

Graphic card - MSI R6770-MD1GD 1GB GDDR5 @ Rs.6500 (thanks to Dark Angel)

DVD -LG dvd writer Rs. 900

Cabinet - iball entizer @ Rs.1000 (without smps)

Monitor - AOC 20 inch led razor Rs.5700

Keyboard- iball multimedia Rs.650

total ~Rs. 33000

i m having problem in installing Windows XP in this configuration

error - blue screen is displayed and restart again

please help guys
 
You finally bought it. :p Congrats.

Why do you wanna install Windows XP on this? Go ahead with Windows 7.

Anyways, which ever OS you install, make sure its 64-bit version since in 32-bit version you will only be able to use 3.2GB of your 4GB ram.

As for your query, go to the BIOS and change the SATA mode from AHCI to IDE. You shouldn't have any problems installing Win XP.

for i3- INTEL DH55TC or the ASUS P7P55D LE.
If you plan on overclocking, personally, I'd pick the Asus board. Great BIOS for overclockers.
But Intel is great too..also, they've got an offer on all Intel systems- free broadband connection, 15page website business IDs..

can i use external harddrive on my dvd player

because i planning to buy a external hdd 1TB and transfer my movies from pc to HDD use it on PHILLIPs DVD player

PLease suggest me any good 1 tb External HDD for RS. 3000

Please also suggest a good speaker 2.1 under Rs.2000
