We have a generic inverter which was running on an exide battery for four years. Now that the battery is dead, i'm looking for a new battery. A new exide FEI0-IN1800PLUS battery is selling for around 10,000 bucks. But a friend suggested that I also look at Base Terminal batteries from panasonic. Does anyone have any experience with them? Which one should I opt for?

I'd used Base Terminal batteries & they are good enough.... The one I used worked for three years without any trouble then for another year with low backup time... the battery then was not holding enough charge for the fourth year so I replaced it with a generic tubular battery....

For the price they ask its acceptable performance....

I am using Exide tubular battery + Luminous square wave inverter, the duo cost me ~ 14k.
Its been almost a year now & setup is working fine.
