I am looking for a new laptop for official use.
Any suggestions would be highly appreciated .
# What's your Budget? (e.g. >30K, not more than 50K etc.)
Budget not much a constraint, but say <45k
# What will be your primary usage for the notebook be? (e.g. web surfing/office apps/Casual Gaming)
Office Apps - Outlook, Office, Light Browsing
Strictly NO gaming
# What size and weight considerations do you have? (e.g. Do you want a 17" desktop replacement or you want an ultraportable 12" or something in between)
Preferably 13-14 ", but 12" would also do.
# Any brand that you prefer, or any brand that you detest? (e.g some would prefer to stay away from Acer or Dell)
Have used most brands - Dell,Hp,Compaq,Acer,Lenovo but never had to face A.S.S ever. So dont have much idea here.
So any brand with good A.S.S is preferred
# Any other considerations? (e.g Battery life; Widescreen/non-widescreen; Glossy/Matte screen etc.)
BatteryLife - Average Requirement (say 3-4 hrs)
Matte Screen preferred
I would prefer an i3 + 4GB or similar platform. Just to keep things fast.
One Main requirement is portability - lesser the weight, better !
Currently using a dm1-4003 @home. Even a similar suggestion would be good enough.
No heavy-duty cpu or memory requirement,but only major requirement is portability and build.
