Suggestion needed on Water Purifier for Home

Where are you from?

It is important for members to know the kind of water source you have currently before we suggest the best choice. Please describe in as much detail as possible.
 
what are your requirements?

how many members are in your family?

how is the water quality you get?

do you get hard water (eg from borewell) or you get soft clear municipal supply?

there are multiple options in water purifier systems.

I am looking to buy water purifier for Ahmedabad. At present I am getting borewell water, but in nearest future we are going to get muncipal water. We have 6 members in our family.

Hey mate I'm also from Ahmedabad. Generally, there is no need of RO plant in Ahmedabad. Go for purification system from Aqua. I insist pl also check philips also they recently launch good purifier in market.

want address...just google it yar...u get it....:P

I think classic, compact or nova model suits your requirement in AQUA within budget.

or

check also Philips WP3890 Rs.<7000-6000>

@pallav, i do have classic at my home...want to sell and would like to purchase a RO sys coz jamnagar hard water common problem....if interested just PM me...

I can also provide Eureka off no if u want...

stick on aquaguard or philips only..
 
Just read the threads that medpal has suggested.

I myself use the pureflo ultrafilteration unit.

They are Ahmedabad based FYI.
 
Hey medpal or neone else on TE can u plz tell me wht kind of test one needs to perform to check the quality of the water . wht are this test called , where can we perform these test , are this test expensive etc etc .......

do u knw where this test can be done in mumbai ?

me also planin to bye a water purifier so thought of checkin the water first so it would be easier for me to select the right water purifier

hey guys i checked the TDS in the water n it is arnd 550 PPM (mg/l) so which purifier shld i go for the RO or ultra filteration

guys plz give u r suggestion ................

shld i start a new thread or is it ok if i cntinue in this thread ............

The problem with calling them is tht the chances of there opinion beign biasd is more this buggers will persuade u to take the most expensive one even if u not need it so i was looking for some expert opinion frm pple who has knowledge abt this ........

neways i will have to look somwhere esle
