OC & Modding Suggestion on Painting the Plastic Cabinet Panel

Friends,

I am in the process of restoring a old system. My 1st PC!
I want to paint the front plastic panel using spray paint.

Can you pls suggest me -

• What is the process?
• Which brand of primer to use? (local company/brand or Amazon)
• Which brand of color to use? (local company/brand or Amazon)
• How many coats?

What color should I paint?
The metal body is White.
If I paint this plastic panel white also, then these TWO whites might not match! Might look odd.
Grey? or Silver? or White?

Pls share your personal experience and work.

You can also consider using hydrogen peroxide and leaving it in UV light/ sunlight for a few days. That'll restore the original white colour it had.

I thought of that also.
But the Panel has lots of cracks and bends and damages etc. Paint might hide them....
