I’m looking for a solution where if someone presses the doorbell, I get a notification on my phone, Echo.
I live in a high rise apartment and working in my home studio where I sometimes miss the sound of the doorbell. If I can get a notification on my phone, smart speaker it would help a lot.
I am not interested in a video doorbell as they are expensive, bring unwanted attention and are prone to theft.
one solution could be when someone presses the doorbell switch, instead of the doorbell ringin, a trigger gets activated and that sends me the notification.
I am open to any and all kind of suggestions.
