Suggestions for broadband plan in Jaynagar, Bangalore

Hi,

I want to change my broadband service provider from BSNL

Need suggestions for unlimited plans with bandwidth >=512Kbps for price less than 1000 rupees

The best ones I could find are

Airtel 699 - 1Mbps with 6GB cap after which speed becomes 256Kbps and each MB after that is charged 0.2 Rs
Airtel 899- 1Mbps with 10GB cap - Speed 256Kbps after cap - Unllimited

Are there any other ISPs which provide better alternatives?

reliance netconnect. 3.1mbps, 1399 per month though man getting 1mbps download speed.

Why do you want to change?
 
tried local cable vala?

sometimes offer very good deal along with prompt service

i'm having Nivyah Broadband(doubt if its outside Mumbai) through cable vala, 2mbps day, 4mbps night UL@500/mnth, most imp. is quality of Service I get !!

I want to change because my BSNL connection, even though it's a 2Mbps connection, I hardly get 500Kbps
 
dude if 500kbps is downloading speed then its more than what u get for 2mbps plan

its worth money

8% of surfing speed is the download speed, u might know this fact
 
he says he is getting 500kbps not Kilo Bytes per second.

You might have ACT broadband in your area or Reliance broadband?
 
^A friend of mine had it in Brookefield. It was pretty good about one year ago but now I can't say for sure as he doesn't stay there anymore.
 
^Their site shows that it is available in Yelahanka New town. Leave them a mail or call their CC to confirm.
