Suggestions for cheap controller for playing platformers on PC.

Hi. I am looking for suggestions for cheap controllers to use on pc( win 10) for platformers like Hollow knight.
Budget: under 2k
Connectivity: wired/wireless
Desired features: plug and play(I don't want to manually map buttons).

I am using this for my kids to play android tv games. It needs the dongle to be in front of the TV (else it drops connections) but the controller itself is pretty sturdy and has withstood my kids abuse (the TV remote has not been so lucky, and I'm on my third remote)

Get a wired XBOX 360 controller [if you can manage one].
Or maybe used XBOX one controller.
Its absolutely worth paying the little extra.

I've used the wireless one as well. It lasted for about 3 years and the battery died. The analog stick cap started chipping in between but it's pretty easy to replace it yourself.

Go for redgear wireless pro. Works with pc and even with android.

Comes with 2 years warranty plus it's Logitech but there is one issue it's triggers are somewhat stiff to use.

Get the red gear or cosmic byte ones, personally have cosmic byte , it started to malfunction and they replaced with the new one so support is good as well
