PC Peripherals Suggestions for Flat bed scanner

Need a flat bed scanner for office purpose. The HP scanjet conked and need to order ASAP. Budget is upto 5K.

Price is not a factor provided the product is reliable. The HP has served us close to 5 years.

i have the HP laserjet M1005 MFP which is a laserprinter integrated with the flatbed scanner. my uncle has the canon Lide 110. i have observed theres quite some difference in the scanning quality as well as the speed of both the scanners..

the HP scanner works quite better..

now, i dont know which standalone HP scanner corresponds to the same scanner that is with my M1005 All-in-one.

PS: plz dont tell me HP and canon are same becoz HP owns canon. theres still a difference in the quality of products and their software. some things have been standardized.. like the printers from both brands use the same cartridges.

I think Epson v3 model is your best option in the 5k.budget.canon scanners are overpriced!

I bought the cheapest Canon about 3 years ago, and it's working great till now. Paid 2.2K at that time. Doesn't see much use though, maybe 10 scans a day or so. Mostly for copy, and some to scan and save documents.
