hi peeps...i wanna buy an RC car...suggestions on where to buy (in mumbai/pune) and which brand...i know Croma has them in store...but will they or any other store let me have a test ride beforehand :huh: ...budget upto 3k...

i doubt u ll get a test drive. cos most of these run on internal rechargeable batts, n i doubt those will be charged initially. u need to charge it fully first time after buyin running that way can actually damage the batt pack.

as for other locations: try crossword, landmark, they both stock them. + try most large toy shops for a huge selection. there are a couple on MG road, pune.

Alfa - brand see if they have Tyco (or something like that) - though the better brands may cost 4-5 k,

If you plan to use it in the building compound, one with larger tyres is better as they can run around in gardens etc, the low slung sleek looking ones have a problem on bumpy surface.

Buy Tamiya cars they are chinese but fantasic stuff .. if you can afford buy the ones with 3 or 4 cc IC engines cars with 4 channel controllers.
