Storage Solutions Suggestions for small size case to build a xpenology nas.

Requirements -
Min 2x 3.5 inch hdd slots/bays
Min 2x 2.5 inch hdd slots.
Can fit ATX PSU (dont want to spend on sfx psu).

I found Node 304, but its sold out on all major sites.
Need your advice on xpenology nas, or home nas in general.
Right now I have a two bay synology nas but looking to expand storage without buying new drives and enclosures.

Cooler Master K380 ? Lots of HDD bays so you're future proofing yourself from a NAS perspective, but it's not exactly small, more like a Mid Tower size

I am using this and I add 2 bay hdd near the motherboard. so 2 hdd(custom) 1 hdd at the side (original) 1 hdd at the dvd tray (original) and 1 ssd below the dvd tray (original).
I might be able to fit 3 hdd (custom) near the motherboard but I haven't tried it. I use Micro ATX MB.

I have the CM 310C running with 5 hdd and 1ssd and still with space for 2 more hdd....you can convert the 5.25inch bays also for hdd.

How is the sound of hdd outside the case, do you use dampening fasteners on hdd.

I didn't notice noise as i run a fan also in front for hdd's.
