guys i am in desperate need of a good cabbie!

1.i have an ATX board hense ive run out off space!
2.plus the cabbs been modded to ruin (its really falling apart)
i d like the following specs in it
1.space
2.2 120mm fans must fit on it more wud be great
3.sturdy construction
4.budget only <2.5k
i have rounded off on cm elite331 it suites my need but any other brand
i'll preffer a tool less layout as i keep removing and pluging my HDD frequently!

the elite should be around 1.8k i think

You may also consider the Zebronics Bijli for around 1.6k [without the PSU for 1.2k]; :)

Elite series is 1716 via Amarbir, shipping will come to 350. 7 X 50

Elite 334 is best looking, very similar to CM 690, same specs.

I hope U can find Chieftec cabbies in this budget, very spacy and good cooling.

or taiwaneese made cabbies, not famous but good built quality, VFM.

bijli does have an attractive price ,but what about the build quality
are chieftec cabinets available in delhi if so which models?

Build quality is decent if not excellent; :)

And I seriously doubt if u can find a Chieftec comes for as low as 2.5k; if it does blindly go ahead since its a better cabinet and has a solid look than the Bijli;

Have a look at Intex Innovator. It has a facility/space for front fan.

Iball cabinets dont have this facility as far as my knowledge is concerned.

Or else if your configuration really needs front 120mm fan, then go for Asus.
Sorry dont know the cost. Check out the innovator from INtex though.

so now its a decider between CM elite and Zebby bijli
1.7k and 1.1k
both support a rear as well as a front 120mm fan
but only cm has a tool less design .

well i guess the bijli is more easy on my budget
will check local availabilty and buy it

thanks all

Dude if your budget is Rs. 2500 then extend it for a CM690 or just get Elite series.

I had Coolermaster Xtreme 600W, 3 HDDs, 8800GT and 4 120 mm fans in an Elite 330. Paid only Rs. 1900. Modded side panel to fit 2 120mm fans.

It works great, Elite serires has decent cooling, i easily installed 1 120mm fan on an Ultima 90i (Yes i did), One 120mm @ front 1 @ rear, u can add 80mm on side panel OR mod it. Or buy from me for Rs. 1500, i will give you 2 120 mm anti vibration kit worth Rs. 400-500 (bought from KMD) and 2 120 mm fan grills with the cabinet.

Congrats- me got a bit late here. :ashamed:
Zebronics Bijli was 1K odd in Mumbai w/o psu.
Should ghave been surely lower or same price atleast in Chennai imho.
Unless the demand for the same is making dealers do the usual.
And i rather spend 1K on the Bijli and do w/o toolless stuff than spend 1.8K odd or more on any of the CM elite 330 stuff and the likes.
For those who dont agree- check them out side by side w/o being biased towards the CM tag. :)
Comes with 2x80mm fans on the side panel (please use as intake only) and a 120mm quad blue LED at the front , with much higher cfm than the stock CM fans that don't seem to move any air.
It can be moved to the rear for those not wanting to spend extra fora rear fan(coz exhaust is a must). :P

Gannu- that pic is of the older version if i am not mistaken.
The newer one has that blue halo like power LED around the silver/steel metal finish power button and a HDD LED hidden behind the mesh below the 3.5" bay iirc. :)

I think everything else is the same except for the blue, halo-like power LED.
Here is a pic courtesy Neville's rig in rig gallery- side panel modded by KMD and full of performance accessories and bling stuff.
But look for the power button on the bezel. :)

Also a point i forgot to mention is that the Bijli has bigger holes in the mesh like front- easier breathability and lower front fan noise compared to the CM elite series cabbies. :P

There has been only one version..your just not able to see the blue halo around the power switch.

And believe me guys..don't trust the sales pic(like the one posted) posted, check it out in person and you'll appreciate the cabby a hell lot more..

will post pics of the cabinet when i've transferred the stuff from the old cabby..

so now its a decider between CM elite and Zebby bijli

The basic CM elite is really not much unless you want to stick to the COOLERMASTER brand and pay the premium!?

thanks everyone!:)
i ll go in for the zebby!
first let me get hold of it, will scout for it at wazirpur and DC :ashamed:

I got the Bijli w/o PSU for 1.2k but u can get it for 1.1k with LED FAN.

There is a version with normal non LED fan that u can grab for 900 bucks w/o PSU.

Its a good VFM cabinet with nice airflow ( my components heaved a sigh of relief in this summer heat :P ). Rear fan is a must for exhause but I would suggest keeping the front fan at its place as this would cool your HDDs.

Also I guess you can mount an 80mm on the HDD cage. If anyone has done this please post a pic.
