suggestions for wi fi router

Hi every1,

I'm looking for a suggestion as to what should i buy, coz i have got a MTNL triband connection and i have a router provided by them which is shitty as hell and i have recently got a new lappy which i would like to use wifi, so i'm basically looking for a wifi router which has 2 lan ports and which is good and can be flashed if i want to. All suggestions are welcomed..
 
Could you be a bit more specific about your requirements? What's your budget? What area are you looking at covering? Are you looking for a G standard or an N standard router??

Practically every router sold today has four LAN ports. When you say flashed, I assume you're talking about DD-WRT or Tomato firmware. There's quite a few decent G and N routers that can be flashed with third-party firmwares. Still, it would help if you could mention a more specific set of requirements.

suitable brands, linksys, netgear, and any other that works great
