Hi Guys,

Ok well, new job needs me to travel around 2-3hrs on the Mumbai local railway to and fro so that adds up to 5-6hrs of traveling.

I tried a few IEM's but they just aren't cutting it for me, probably my ear canals are weird so I just don't get a proper fit, apart from that they give me a headache sometimes.

So I am out in the market searching for Portable Headphones which could also have decent noise cancellation within a budget of 3-4k.

My music varies from Rock/Indie/Pop/Hindi/Electronic/Acoustic/OST etc ... :P

As of now I already have the Sennheiser Px100 but the noise cancellation on them are pathetic. I looked around the net and found only Sennheiser's namely HD228 the PX200II but these phones have varied reviews.

Do suggest guys.

^^ Thats a nice can and has good isolation as well as SQ. However it has a 10 foot cable which can be very cumbersome when on the move.

SQ wise I seriously doubt you can do better till you can spend around 5k

Thanks guys for the suggestions, I know I am asking too much but both of those headphones look huge.

Wanted something which wont make me look like a space alien in the crowd. :P Its ok If it'll stretch the budget.

One suggestion , since I had the exact same problem.
Try the Klipsch S2/S4. They will fit a 100% and you won't even know they're there.
Plus acoustics+indie sounds fantabulous. Trust me, you will thanks me for this : )
