Super speeds with torrents but cannot stream media ??

I have a 2Mbps/600Kbps connection and when using utorrent i get speeds upto 230 KBps download and 60 KBps upload with private trackers. But when i try to stream online Indian channels it takes a lot of time to buffer and also its frequency is very high. After every 3-4 seconds the video stops and buffering starts. This happens with almost all channels.

Watching CNN IBN live using in.com works fine though. What may be the reason for this pathetic streaming speed ?

I do not have any bandwidth eating apps like utorrent running in background, neither is any download parallely running.

Even songs at 128 KBps don't stream properly.

PS: For Indian channels i use idesitv.com

the problem most prolly lies on the other side...that site i have found to be really painful...it keeps buffering most of the time...

you have any other websites in mind which stream Indian TV Channels.

ps: I cannot install SOPCAST etc players on my lappy. So direct streaming from websites is the best bet

The server that streams the TV channels have a limited bandwidth or they are limiting it knowingly, so that u buy their premium packs.And just have a look at my signature....
