A few years back I was working on a pavement construction project and there were 2 workers from SG who were brought to do some specialized work. This is a conversation I had with one of them;

Worker waves his hands frantically, I've got no clue what he's asking for.
Worker: loba, LOBAAA
Me: What?
Worker: LOL-LLAR
Me: What?
He crouches down and again waves his hands horizontally.
Worker: LOBARRR
Me: Ah, Lower?
Worker: LOBARRR
Me: Blower?
Worker: No... LOLA?
Me: huh... ummm... roller?
Worker: Yeah, lolar :clap:

Thankfully, he wasn't asking for a lover :ashamed:

The conversation makes it seem like they were frantically WARNING you of a pavement-ROLAA behind you! You shouldn't be comical in such a situation.
