Synchronize PC's / Laptop's over Internet

Hi friends, I've some PC's at different locations which I want to be synchronized. I've no idea how to do that.

I've heard of cloud synchronization. Like any device (PC, Laptop, Mobile) I'll connect to cloud everything(datas) will be synchronized. But have no idea.

Actually I've some documents, databases etc. on a PC which I want to be synchronized in other PC's too. I mean if I change the database/document from one PC that change should reflect to other PC's too.

Any solution would be helpful.
NOTE : I can't LAN them as they are on different locations.
 
Why dont you keep your files in an online storage service like Dropbox or Google Docs?
If the databases are not too large, it is very easy to just upload the files again when their contents are changed.

If you are going to use Dropbox, this task can be automated with some scripts.
Go to Lifehacker, tips and downloads for getting things done and search for Dropbox tutorials. They have got loads of tutorials on nice uses of Dropbox.
 
Thanks Dropbox looks nice and exact solution for my problem. I was just browsing and found Windows Live Sync. How is it??

What do you guys refer??
