CPU/Mobo System Help Required..

Hi Guys I have an Issue with my system.. My system automatically turns Off after using it for about 2 hours and will not Turn on for next 20 min or so... i dont Know what is happening, can anyone help?
 
Give full system specifications like CPU,GPU,MB,PSU,RAM, HDD and cabinet. You can try resetting, cleaning CPU HSF with a new coat of thermal compound in case of overheating issue after observing system working temperatures. Any way first give specifications and temperatures, Use Everest software for monitoring.
 
Looks like either a pretty old SMPS powering the rig but such an issue can also arise due to excessive CPU temps...

Can't really decide until you give us a definitive description..

a) Is the SMPS Fan working?

b) Is the CPU Fan working?

c) Does your cabinet have enough ventilation?

d) What SMPS do you have and your system Configuration?

Please provide these answers and lets see if we can figure out the solution.
 
The Configuration is Intel Dual Core 2.8 ghz, Roxio Mother Board, Nvidia 5800 1 gb DDr1 ram, its got good ventilation, ive tried reseating all the components.. all the Fans work... I am familiar with most of the Issues.. Even the Smps is a new one.. So i think it should be mother board but i need the other possibilities as well so help me out Please...
