PC Peripherals System reboots reading DVD's

Hi frnzz

first my rig
proc:AMD athlon 64 X2 3600+
mobo:ASUS M2n-MX
Ram: 1gb DD2 667 mhz
drive LG GSA-4163B

nw the problem
whenever i try to read a DVD r CD ma screen freezes and ill hav to restart ma comp

all these stripes is wat i see after i try reading a DVD

and even more. this prob dosent occur if i try if i read the DVD after leaving the comp runing for a day or so hyeah:

but now even trying to read DVD after comp runing for long time , the prob occurs....

updated my mobo drivers still no improvement

advices plzz

thats wierd. can you try and get hold of another dvd drive and see if the problem still persists ?

got another 1 . but tat neva even opens

will try to get ma frnz drive asap

Check your power supply, i had the same problem, there was nothing wrong wiht the dvd player

but this prob occurs only while reading. while burning disc , no problem
