PC Peripherals System Upgrade suggest

Hi,
My System Configuration is :

Processor : Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 1.86 Ghz
Motherboard : Asus P5B Wi-FI Api Edition
RAM : 2 GB DDR2 800 MHz
HDD : 400 GB SATA II
Graphics Card : XFX GeForce 6600 256 MB

I want to upgrade the system so that it could run new games and graphic intense apps.:eek:hyeah:
My Budget is around Rs.20,000/- to Rs.25,000/-

I think this should fit your budget. I recently built a rig like this. Handles anything I can throw at it. Please post your current PSU. It might not bet able to handle this config.

Processor: AMD Phenom II X4 920 - 9.3k
Motherboard: Biostar TA790GXB - 4.5k
Palit GTX 260 Core 216 Sonic - 11k
RAM: 2GB DDR2 800MHz - 1.2k

MY PSU is corsair 550

Motherboard : Biostar TA790GXB - 4.5k

RAM : Transcend 2x2 GB DDR2 800 MHz 2.3k

HDD : WD 640 GB AAKS 3.3k

Graphics Card : Palit GTX 260 Core 216 Sonic - 11k

Total 30.5k~

UR current PC has good resale value.
 
sorry for hijacking :). I too have the similar configuration with asus p5b and intel 6420 with 4gb ram. How much should I expect if I intend to sell it throught TE

Hi, thanks for reply :)

I was thinking of a Intel Processor and a new HDD and add 2GB RAM, i have no idea how to update the bios, also the time when i bought the motherboard, intel had not launched the quad core processors, so will they support any new intel core2 duo or the latest i series of processors, i heard some were that you can update the bios and it will support it, i have no idea how to update the bios?

BTW
My RAM is Corsair ddr2 800mhz

also you said it has good resale value... how much do you think it is worth
