Hi got pricings for Hitachi T7K's... now I'm down to either a 160 or a 250 gig..right now I am running 1 HDD and am not pleased with the results...It has slowed me down by around 10~20% depending on the application and multi disk access is a b1tch...
Now the 250 gig has a 16MB buffer right? and the 160 has 8 MB, does this alone make a diff??
See I will need both eventually (have a 160 gig already so will RAID 0 these) and the 250 will also be used... My dilemma here is whether to go for the 250 or the 160...Any benchies comparing hitachi's 160 & 250 gig T7K's anyone??
