Table fan with low noise level

Can someone suggest me a cool table fan which is as quiet as possible? I have a Havells fan right now and its noisy as hell. Bought it locally so can't be returned.

Thanks I'll check it out.
My first search on amazon says its noisy lol. What fans do you guys use?
Also metal blades or non-metal? My current Havells has non-metal blades.

I have a oster tower fan bought from Amazon few years back. Very less noise compared to a table fan. The air throw is 8 to 10 feet with high speed. I'm not sure if there is any complete noiseless table fan.

Bought this for use in the kitchen. This has minimal noise, and may suit your requirements.
This seems good but area of effect looks very narrow.

I don't mean noiseless but it shouldn't be loud. My current fan is unbelievably loud even at lowest speed.

If budget is not your constraint you can look at Dyson bladeless fan. Also you can check out Russel Hobson tower fan which is similar to Oster tower fan.

Yes. The area covered is a little narrow. It has an auto swing mode that can mitigate this a little. If it is going to be for a single person, it should be more than sufficient.

I have orient one which is plastic blades. normally silent if used in first 2 mode. highest (fastest) mode will ofcourse make noise. its an table fan, not an ac where the fan is outside your house :p

Mine is loud even in the first level. Level 3 becomes maddening.

Seems I am late..
Perhaps your fan making noise is an indication that either its bearing has conked off or it needs some lubrication. Just a thought.
If you think the noise is the only reason to get a new one then perhaps show it to local electrician.

I haven't bought it.
What part should I lubricate? It's been loud since the first day.

Day 1!! So there is very little that can be done.
Just show it to local electrician and ask him if the noise produced is normal. Anything can be an issue. Only he can tell after diagnosis. If it fits budget then get it repaired.
I am assuming that you are not looking for a fan which has a long air throw. If it's less area then a small motor should do the job. You can a look at these..

For larger coverage..

Metal blades will give you more air throw as it cuts through air easily, but expect it to be noisy at higher rpms. Also they rust easily, so do note if rusting, corrosion is an issue. For medium to moderate air throw plastic suffices. Also cleaning is easy.
I have a wall-mounted fan from Orient which is powerful at l-3 but suffices at 1,2.

Tall boy fan from Orient (i think)

Not much in terms of airflow but ok.

Avoid Havells round table fan - makes too much noise and does not sit properly, and ours caught fire.
