TATA docomo going to launch 3G this diwali

It means that dont download directly on a phone, use the pc! i think it logs the phone's browser request!! Or simply encrypt the connections! My 60 bucks lost grrr!!
 
Really interested to know the pings while gaming-TF2,cs etc.Read somewhere that wireless networks are not good for gaming.

How do we connect to the 3G network WITHOUT a mobile phone? Is there any USB modem available of the shelf? HOw much does it costs? Sorry for my noon queries!
 
My experience with docomo Bangalore is pathetic. Tried to test Mobile AP on my wave. It disconnects quite frequently say 10 secs. In the mean while I have lost Rs 50 errr.. The guys in the forum mall told me its free but Rs50 deducted by just opening TE and speedtest site that too docomo disconnects mobile AP just pathetic

BTW still waiting for the launch in my city....damn you DoCoMo and your *Conditions apply! I was so psyched on diwali only to be shown the *..

Hi,

Where you stay in Pune?, bcaz I stay in karve Nagar & I can see only 3G network not the HSDPA n/w. Also I get charged using 3G.

type INTERNET and send it to 52270 and u will receive the settings for ur phone
 
The whole section between Hinjewadi and Aundh in Pune does not seem be 3G enabled yet. :(

Only once did i get Tata GSM shown in 3G n/w near wakad
 
Send INTERNET to 52270 n got the replay asap

"This service does not support ur device call cc to sign up for support"
 
Yes Hinjewadi don't have DOCOMO 3G network. Forget 3G I dont get 2G n/w whr i seat in Hinjewadi :(

@datta.ca: Dude, where are you in Hinjewadi? I am in phase 1 plot 26/27 (Hope you understand where :P). Experiencing the same issue not even regular 2G coverage.
 
Guys help i can't access it on my pc as the connection is established with sent data but no incoming data.
Using Nokia 5230 ,pc suite,connecting through tata docomo internet.
Any special settings to access it on pc?

Bibvewadi-Kondhwa Rd. As I said, the tower is right in front of my bldg.! :)

AFAIK, TATA DOCOMO 3G is not yet officially launched in Pune. Yes, the 3G signal is live but I guess it's still in the testing phase. They'll officially announce that 3G is live in the city as and when 3G is accessible in all parts of the city (including areas like Hinjewadi, Aundh, etc.)

Firstly, sms "INTERNET" (without quotes) to 52270 (toll-free). Shortly, you'll receive settings, save them as default. Connect your phone to your PC and wait for a minute. Open Nokia PC Suite, click 'Connect to the Internet', click the 'Settings' icon, select your device, select manual APN and type "TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNET" (without quotes) in the APN feild. Leave all other feilds blank and save the settings. Now try connecting. It should connect. Still, if it's not connecting then maybe you're low on balance or something is wrong. You'll have to call 121. :S
