Tata indicom 256Kb/s UL plan?

Hi!

I currently have You telecom (Iqara) night angel plan (256kbps night UL).

I want to change over to true unlimited 256kbps connection. As Airtel is not available in Andhra Pradesh except Hyderabad, on the suggestion of Hmasalia i decided to go for the below highlighted plan of Tata Indicom Broadband.

Is there anything I should know (like hidden costs etc.) before going for it?

Also is there any better alternative to it?

My main applications are 1.Bittorrent 2.Bittorrent 3.FTP usage with almost no gaming (so pings don't matter - Iqara gives me a ping of 300 LOL)

from what i have read...where tata works properly there is nothing like it....and some places the connection is a complete nightmare..

so if possible try to find out the opinion in your area/city with regards to Tata Broadband...that might give you a better picture...
 
@Seed :- what download speeds do u get with 256kbps....!! I live near Kothrud Depo...Any reviews of Tata service in that area...!!

Btw rite now i am using Airtel GPRS...so in day time i get around 12-18Kbps and during night time 18-23Kbps..
 
I've been on the TATA 3 month 256kbps U/L plan and I must say it's pretty good. No fuss whatsoever. I get 29-31 KBytes/s download and upload.
 
bsnl coz i think u can opt for 2mbps night ultd with that plan, or something 2mbps ultd with bsnl, i dont really remember..
