Tata Night Unlimited stopped?

Hi All,

After reading about this plan on this forum I had applied for a Tata connection, though I have a sufficiently good Airtel 256kpbs unlimited, but 2 mbs is difficult to resist, right?

Well now it appears TATA have discontinued the plan, I read about it on another forum and called up TATA, its not available anymore and they couldn't confirm if/when it will be back so I have put my application on hold. Its not there on their site either. So is this the end of the temporary glut in bandwidth at affordable prices.

Like I mentioned in my earlier post on another thread it was too good to last,

"The thing is with such plans, people feel compelled to abuse the night unlimited and very soon Tata will rethink and we will all be stuck with 360hrs but no night unlimited, better to give a legitimate unlimited and though a small percentage will always download 24/7 the vast majority will happily use it normally, I mean how much can you download anyway?"

This seems to be what has happened.
 
Naa I am still using it . . although there are some problems going with it rite now and i am resolving the issue with tat getting a refund for all my usage between 9 Pm and 9 Am and they haven't told me anything like the plan being scraped or discontinued. . .

Although there mite be an exception in the case if applying for the plan for the first time. . . maybe they have run out of slots or something. . Or it might be something to do with your CITY or Area so check that out. . .
 
Hey Prafulk, the night unlimited offer is not there on the tataindicom site anymore, the banners are off. Surely something is up.
 
Just called up tata indicom, he told those who are using quick power scheme+night u/l will continue to be on this plan, they'll deduct 10hrs (Rs.99) per month till the plans gets over. Also he told, tata indicom seems to be experimenting with the night unlimited plan and mite introduce this on other plans as well. Anyways i don't believe the tata customer care and have my doubts on them.

Those people who are on this plan and finishing their first month, please report back if if u r still on the night unlimited plan.

edit : my friend kinofevil also called the CC and they told the plan has put off for while as they have been facing technical problem like wrong billing etc.. and it'll mostly rectified in 15 days :P lol. someone else call get some different story :rofl:

Xactly i am also facing these Freaking technical issues and billing problems but something must have got to them today!!

They gave me a 1400 Rupees as refund :hap2: :hap2: . . funny thing is that i didn't even use that much. . . the 2mBps is working fine only thing is i am being BILLED in the night as well . . Lets see if the night UNLIMITED works tonight..:ashamed:
 
yeah i have a billing problem with TTML here too.

It took 3 months to drum into their numbskulls that i had used that much download during the night time. -_-
 
well to be precise.. the plan wasnt put off.. there were some technical difficulties. lyk.. being charged though on unlimited plan, de cc told dat, it was a pblm n dey r tryin deir best (lol).. to fix it in 15 days.. we will still receive night unlimited offer and if we are charged. make a note of it n inform them, dey said, dey wud rectify it.. dis is wat he told.. othrwise de plan wont be removed.
lets see how this goes.. maan i cant think of day witout 2MBps :@ :( :S
 
Yeah even my balance has shot up to 4.1k odd with 462hrs :P



I hope the night plan will continue for the next 6 months atleast

hey i have voip but unlimited palns (256 bsnl) ul-plus
i have voip for my parent
voip support only 256 kbps unlimited not 2mbps higher....
i am not happy for higher speed :ashamed:
is possible u stream video from 256 kbps or not....
 
i had called the Tata CC sometime back....i was told that the night unlimited is still active...

Me in Nasik right now...can someone confirm if the night unlimited is working?
 
From what i heard the night plan will continue for those who have already activated it, however new users cant opt for it
 
My plan is still active right now as I right... in addition they just deducted another 100Rs from my account day before yesterday for the second month night unlimited subscription automatically.

P>S> I agree though that they have removed the advertisements now from the spcl offers, so perhaps they dont want to advertise this no more...
 
Has anyone in Bangalore used the tata night U/L plan...have contacted the CC for the same plan but noone has replied back yet
 
Night Unlimited working fine here after the issue was fixed , i havent been billed incorrectly a single time.

But xfactor and others u guys are lucky to get xtra money :)

I hope the NUL stays , cant live without it.
 
My balance was 1610 and now its 2423 :tongue:

Actually i was wrongly credited 84 Rs for 1st Night...so i complained and everything...

So i just checked its 2423...and when i chek my usage..they still have charged me for that night..!!

Also i havent got any mail regarding correction of my balance...so i guess they can debit it anytime they recongnise it.. :ashamed:
 
hey its not discontinued yet there r still doing the night thing called tata on mumbai! its still on..ordered a conn for my self gonna get it tonight!!!
