tatasky on pc monitor

hi,

i am planning to upgrade my monitor to viewsonic VA1912w, a 19" widescreen LCD. However, i also want to enjoy tatasky on it. VA1912w or most of the other similar TFT LCD/LCD monitors don't have digital input. otherwise it comes at much higher price.

VA 1945wm comes with digital input: but it's pretty expensive. so, do i always need monitors with digital/analog input to get good clarity [a friend of mine from jaipur told me] ? is it possible to get that clarity of tatasky on mine ? which tv-tuner card should i go for?

btw, anyone using tatasky with a lcd motinor (without digital input) & getting the usual 'tatasky' clarity ?

A regular TV tuner card in your PC would work, although if you need an external TV tuner (don't want to use your PC while watching TV) some like this might be of interest to you.

bought a 19" widescreen lcd, tatasky and gemini tv-tuner, apparently tv-tuner menu comes in chinese. it's working like a charm.

so, anyone wishes to use DTH/ Tatasky for pc monitor with external tv-tuners; go ahead. But with different tv-tuner, suitable for LCDs..
