I came accross this in XS and wanted to have a local run inside TE members (who own A64 Rev E processors) and see if we can find a pattern.

So the lower TCaseMax is directly telling me the lower overclockability of the proccy. And true isnt it, only 2475 Mhz.

@Rahul: you lucky dog........ if u try harder you can easily cross 2.8 Ghz @ 1.6 V air.

@dipdude: do you have CnQ on by any means? otherwise, 1Ghz is freaky

it seems i have got the worst venice possible.

now i can understand y mine processor is running so hot always ..... i feel its hotter than mine 2800+ clawhammer .....

@ kidoman i reached 2.9 with 1.55v ..... so think it will easly cross 3Ghz with a DFi ... damn this board is having max Vcore of 1.55v

can u imagine, because your core is capable of dumping more heat, you are able to OC to such high levels. you have got a excellent Venice mate. If you ever look to sell it, them pls offer me first okay.

yeah, anyways i have not overclocked, at stock, my m/b & memory are very unforgiving in that respect
