 This is an update to Blade_Runner's The TE Essential Freeware Thread !

 This will be updated over course of sometime as making a huge list is difficult. Will keep updating it as much as possible.

My lil suggestion: Team up with mods and reserve the opening post to provide a list for the Softwares u or anybody else mite be posting in this thread.

A list which mentions the list of the available links and the page number one needs to navigate to would be useful.

Feel free to get my post deleted if u r planning to keep this thread as a links only kinda thread, although that wd be kinda odd cuz sch a thread will thrive on fellow members suggestions/requests.
 
err..I can always edit my own posts at any given point of time. So I dont think that should be a problem. It is a followup to blade's thread which is outdated. he had said so himself.

This thread is made with the intention of replacing that sticky.

one more suggestion: you can keep your posts and we (members) will keep on providing suggestions. you can update your posts with the best suggestions. what do you say? (or did i just type out your mind?!)

Foobar2000 for Music (Mozilla Firefox of Music Players)

MPC-Home Cinema for Videos(better than VLC in options and customizations)
