This is not going anywhere, just a bit of hot air. I will be amazed even if someone really writes 1-2 articles after having promised so much.

why don't people start writing user names with the part they want to assist in, this way everyone knows who will assist in what department.

since too many people are in for graphic designing, i'd stay away.

We need one of the mods / senior members to organize this. And we need to set deadlines for it. I've been part of such a web publication startup before and gosh .. it was hard to get it all started up. Without proper organisation and coordination this WILL fail.
 
Rather than putting comment we should start working .
i guess we need to maintain list of software links to be given with every issue.
This should be maintained in following format.
Code: 
Software name Software link (Freeware/Evaluation/Licensed) How long to be included in Mag Category review and usage.
This way we can better organize software part of it.
I request mods to organize these little suggestions and create a prototype of what needs to be included in each edition of mag.

Starting a magazine / newsletter is one thing but maintaining it is indeed a hard task. Unless people are really designated roles and have deadlines/motivation/responsibility it is hard to see this take off.

Just my 2 cents from experience.

As for funds we can consult MNCs in which you guys work and make an advertisement contract of a year or so
 
I really think we should start it .I see lot of potential in it.

It would be great if we arrange a meeting or something.(I guess there are lot of people from bang,mumbai region ).

Lets plan it accordingly.

P.S:

We should try to appreciate people for their contribution towards it.

As techno guy has suggested We can easily get sponsored if we deliver good work.

I see TE forum is lot better than those are current leader in mag.
