We have enabled the social networking integration with Facebook and Twitter. With this you will be able to

• Register instantly on TechEnclave using their authentication system (or link your account from settings page)
  
• Share status updates directly from status update functionality in your TE profile
  
• Quickly share and 'like' content such as topics when you read them (the share links are at the bottom of the page)
  
• Auto-share topics during creation to your facebook and twitter page

As you can see this integration is completely optional and limited to the person who intends to use it. For a person like me who hardly ever visits FB or Twitter they are or no use but not everyone is as anti social networking as me.

great adds.... but i'd like to keep mine seperate tooo... wouldn't like my TE posts or comments or likes spamming my (unreal) friends on fb

Well its not all or nothing. You can make use of any one of the points listed above while leaving out others.

I think the following point would be most useful while making a <acronym title='For Sale'>FS</acronym>, WTB thread as it will give better visibility to your thread.

These are very useful for people having tech enthusiast friends over facebook . My friends are noobs so i wont be using these much but Great work ,loving all the new improvements in TE .
