As this is a very big community why not we order a Group T-shirt order with our own custom design.

Something funky and TE exclusiv :)

If any one from chennai ready we can go ahead and find out the details of how to get this work done :)
 
i know how to do it. my uncle is doing special embroidory work. he can get embroidered Techenclave on a T-shirt embossed nicely.. we can do like this TECHENCLAVE (with different coloured every letter)

and would be cheaper. he can also emboss a logo with embroidery!

We have discussed about this many times, but sadly it didn't go through. Lets see, I'll discuss about this among other staff and let you guyz know :)
 
hey , i can design some vector stuffs for the t-shirts if you want ;) , in fact it would be a kind of advertisement for TE too
 
instead have a te tshirt design contest. keep it open for a few months, and there would definitely be good participation.
 
Well for a custom designs the cost would go up if we go for printing and then the quality will not be too good too.

Embroidery would be a good option if someone wants a simple logo and name.

@beast - could you let me know the costs involved in this kind of embroidery work. And also to what extent is the customization possible. Both the single piece cost and the batch costs. (excluding the T-shirt cost of course)

Custom design wont be too costly dude at max the cost can go upto 200 bucks for heavy colours i would say Rs 150 will be decent price for 1 liners at front and back :)
 
You mean if I want to get done a single T-shirt then the cost would be 200 bucks.

If thats the case then we can float a few designs and let the people choose between them. That would reduce some fixed overheads.
 
Wotever u guys plan .. dnt think of compromising on the qwality of the shirts..

they shd look trendy and classy ..

even if only a handful ppl want em ..

My humble suggestion .. DonT ShoW OFF ..

keep it simple.. and put TE or techenclave tucked on the shirt which dz gets noticed bt shdnt make ppl think ki u won it in a stupid competition..

it shd make ppl notice the name and come up and ask abt the community

Putting a BIG banner across the chest or at the back wd only make ppl shrug u off.. make it look worthy enuf .. they shd ask wot TE is all abt not simply dismiss it.

well i would like to see something really simple, minimalistic and a one line caption at the back probably....reduces costs and keeps it classy :)
 
Yep.. agree with Shrey... minimalistic.. like just the logo with the word small and simple..
