Kindly report here if you face any bugs on the forum.

Please don't pour in the suggestions on cosmetic changes yet! We are still tweaking a few things and will ask for feedback on that later. Also there is a dark style coming up soon. :)

Suggestions and feedback can be taken up later tonight, after you all have had time to adjust to the new scheme of things :) So for now only post the bugs.
 
So i have a market thread running into multiple pages. On the first page it displays a 'dealer score' while subsequent pages have the itrust rating and percentage and all. shouldnt the display be uniform.

Also, no gtalk option in profile settings. I'm guessing thats just something that needs to be added to the current skin.
 
Probably not a bug but a design issue.

Private Messages are accessible only from the forum index page and not otherwise!
 
Is there no way to have the old look ? :( Saw no skin selection option.

Also, in the market, one box should mention the thread starter/owner.
 
@Pat - Yeah will look at moving some of the menu items to the right of the header image. Its a point of action already noted. :)

@Phoenix - We have planned to keep only two skins. One is the current one and the other is the upcoming dark version.
 
in the techenclave portal, in the small "community box" , a certain "chennaiguy" is supposed to be the highest poster.

the new members list is sorted alphabetically, as opposed to no of posts earlier. can it be sorted the old way or according to rep? now it doesnt mean anything

when you sort it by no of posts, a guy called mint comes on top, he also has posts = the max value of a signed 32 bit integer
 
The dealers paradise & members market do not show the thread opener name/ dealer name. There should be a note on this.

Also request for old skin/ a super lite skin, this takes time to load up on porta-devices.

Though this is nice, i guess i am finding it a little too complicated with so many options. Maybe i'll be fine once i get used to it, but one reason i liked TE more than other forums was because it was simple and straight to the point. No bakwaas :P
 
Not able to edit posts, please fix soon, otherwise it will lead to lot of spamming

Hoping the "dark skin" will be off-the-hook, given the background colour of the logo & the forum !:ohyeah:
 
Great job done :hap2:. Market section has been simplified a lot but it'd take some time getting used to. I think a darker skin similar to older greenish skin should be there.
 
Here's an obvious one

..none of the posts in this thread have a date or time stamp.

And yes i preferred the older skin. This new one feels like i'm in some other forum :)
 
I clicked on the edit profile page and I see a lot of unknown options.

Like under your profile, and customize profile, I see options like Main, Block borders, Major Block borders, Minor Block borders...

Are those supposed to be there? afaik, it wasnt there before, or am I wrong? Also I do not know if this is a new feature. :)
