Infact, previously we had disabled access to market section to guests.
Now, even guests can browse all of market, find out all the deals, the prices, place etc, without even logging in.

I think its a good way to attract guests.
The new system necessitates a new page as its not running on a "forum" code.
 
^^ Will you integrate new Market trades in New Posts / Latest posts? (you said, Market is not running on Forum code now)

The new Market page looks complicated, the page before was good... If possible remove that place and price content in Market. The separation of two trades is not in proper way.. I feel so..

 
I think its a right step in the right direction.

Yes, it may take getting used to, but I feel this makes things more clearer to the end user.

Maybe after a trial period of two weeks or so, some more suggestion/changes can be put forth.

PS: Need the edit button on the right!!!
 
^^ Yeah... Waste of real estate in the blue bar above each post. The post title, time and date could be shifted to this bar.
 
not exactly bugs but here are two things i came across .

1)the the author's name is not shown in the Reviews section.



other than the first review the OP's id/name ins't mentioned anywhere.why is it so ?

It would be nice if the authors name is mentioned along with the Review Title.

This thread of mine which was earlier in the TE celebration contest Section but now it has been moved to the Reviews and Previews section.

even though it has been moved ,it doesnt come up in the search results when searching for "Soundmagic". I think the thread has not been indexed :ashamed:.
 
The bug with the "interests" showing error has been fixed. :)

I can't find who had reported that in this thread :P. I believe it was Dark Star.

This is what's happenning. I have master password set for Firefox. Everytime I launch Firefox, it will ask for master password. I will click cancel. I go directly to TE (no other sites are open). As TE loads, Firefox will ask for master password. I click cancel. I open any existing thread or use Quick Links->Today's Post. Firefox asks again for master password and I click cancel. I go to the next page of the thread, again Firefox asks. To summarize, whenever I open a new TE page, Firefox asks for master password even though no other sites are open. Previously, it didn't use to happen.

I cleared all my cookies, history, cache and everything else using 'Clear Private Data'. Then removed the TE password stored in Firefox. Closed and launched Firefox. Logged into TE. Logged out and logged in again. Even now, Firefox asks for master password.

EDIT: Just tried with a new Firefox profile. Same behaviour happens. If I open 3 threads parallely, it will give the master password dialog 3 times. Don't know what's the issue. :(
 
yes i agree with most of them here, Market section is a disappointment, specially different Categories for PC, Gaming & Phones, it is confusing.

i have noticed that selling items now in market section isnt the same, items wont sell faster anymore

also noticed the performnace/speed of the site has gone down i mean to say it is sluggish

why dont the Mods start Poll ?
 
I think the mods+admins are still working on the market in the open thingy. So i wont bug u on that :P In the meantime i'll keep two bookmarks, one for the forum home and one for Dealers section :P

One suggestion, can it be made possible to edit the status of the deal, for example, being able to change from an IC to a DO after it has been posted ?

@Saiyan - Cant really find that option. I looked in the first post editing as well as the Market Watch Edit Titles option. Not present.



Though i find that the Item Condition list has been incorporated :)

Another point : Even the Review section is missing the authors name along with the thread in the index.
 
Small but neat changes happening daily. :)

I am sort of getting used to this i think.

The new PM notification thingie is cool- just when i was missing the linkie at the top right hand corner. :P

Why don't we have the 'remember me' option at the login box anymore?

Not that i know what it did but why? :P

I thinks the rep blobs were green last night. :S

And i edit my posts a 100 times, only to keep adding more.

Trust me i can hit the edit button blindfolded.

Now i hit 'quote' everytime- only to hit 'back' to go back, refresh the page and end up hitting 'quote' again. :O :rofl:

Any specific reason for shifting it to the left?
