aka911 @ whatever formatting needs to be done can be done by using the standard editor which everyone has access to while posting the article. So don't let the editing part stop you from posting a entry. You don't need word for article presentation, trust me on that.

Ok.... But that Limit was Per Post ! I can Post multiple times in my Thread/article , Right ?

Now this stems from insecurity. To put it bluntly - copying from Articles on TE would not worry us that much as we would exactly know who posted what and during which time. Your articles would be scored on various criterion's and plagiarism would be on our hit-list for negative marking - so be rest assured we would know when someone is getting inspired by other's handiwork.

Not to forget, when we can trust you to not lift articles from net - you guys should be able to trust each other when it comes to not cheating/copying etc.

So leave all the headaches of what competition is upto or not upto, to the Staff - you guys just concentrate on submitting quality material.

Instead of being 'Doubting Thomases' learn to trust each other. There is absolutely no reason to wait till the last moment for submitting your entry.

Also, once you submit an article - it cannot be edited. Any plea's on the same would be ignored by Staff.

Great contest idea, only issue I see is that new threads/posts can't be saved as a draft and worked upon later...

The whole purpose of waiting until the last moment is the editing restriction :)
 
^ Then it is the wrong way to go about things - if you know your article is complete - just submit it.

Else, you can wait till the last day - but errors can crop up during that time too.

So 'Moral of the Story' is submit your entry once you as the author feel that it is complete and can be showcased for public viewing & entering the contest.

Call is your's to make ;)
 
There is always more than one way to do it right and the same goes for screwing up - what works for you and me might not work for others so I guess the moral is "do your own thing and submit when you think it's ready" :)

1) Yep, games that are hot and happening as you put it.

2) Next gen game titles = Any title that will grace the xbox 360, ps3, Wii and even the PC. In addition to that you could cover all three systems, face to face comparison etc. Can't give out too many ideas though......

actually i worked for quite lot of days on my article thts y if i cant submit isa drivin me nuts.
 
Guys,

We have pushed the closing time by about 12 hours.

The Contest would close at 12 Noon Tomorrow. Any entry submitted after the said time would be disregarded/disqualified.

This is funny.

There are 6 prizes and there are 8 articles submitted ( 9 if you count Joe's article to be submitted tomorrow).

Most of the guys will get some prize or the other :lol:
 
submitting an article doesnt automatically qualify for the prize :P
the article still needs to be evaluated :P

MODS I CANNOT PREVIEW MY ARTICLE AFTER CERTAIN LIMIT IT SAYS..

"The text that you have entered is too long (20460 characters). Please shorten it to 20000 characters long."

what shud i do?

and the remaining as a reply to that post.

and u'll have to upload the .doc as well.
