Hi,
Has anyone seen the mobile version of Neowin.net, it's a treat to navigate on Windows Mobile using IE 6 Mobile, try with TE and you are stuck half way trying to load the top banner and increasing your bancwidth consumption on the poor device
Just a thought what would we need to get it like Neowin, no rants just a suggestion, I think we do have lot of users who check TE from their devices

+1 for this request... in fact I was about to start a new thread next week, regarding iPhone/Touchscreen phones optimized version of TE.
 
+1 would love to see TE work faster on my ipod touch :D maybe this thread should be moved to the feedback section?
 
images is part of the enjoyment :) TE is the only site (of a few that i visit on ipod touch) that seems a little slow (but bearable) and sometimes manages to crash mobile safari, i have a feeling its the javascript that is heavy...

there should be an auto detect for the browser agent, so that if you visit the main te.com/forums link it will switch to a mobile theme/site for winmo/ipods etc... rather than having to create a separate link like mobile.te.com

These pages won't look any good or impressive in desktop browser.. but open them up on your phone and it's bliss to browse.

Although TE works pretty good on my iPhone, that's not an issue... the problem is the sad-a$$-junk-of-hammered-trunk EDGE connection that we have here. It's really sad to browse while on move. An optimized version of mobile users would be awesome.
 
I remember there was iwank.com optimized for iphone/ipod touch. It was beta but I guess I's closed now. :(

+1 a touchscreen optimised one.
 
Opera mini does the job for me and opens TE superfast on my Airtel GPRS connection ( SE P1i does not support EDGE) in gurgaon/delhi. Typing this post on the very same .

Opera mini FTW !
