Finally, the TechEnclave Portal is up and running!

We hope to keep it that way only. Thanks to all TE members and guests for having patience and waiting for this new portal to come up. I can assure that you won't be disappointed. The new TE portal is powered by Joomla! CMS (previously known as Mambo) and it has many exciting features to discover.

We'll try our best to keep this portal updated with the latest and the best technology news from around the world along with the hottest reviews and technology related articles.

We want your support in making this a truly great website for technology enthusiasts and novices alike. You can help us by contributing news, articles and reviews for our portal. Also keep on visiting our forums for exciting technology discussions. We look forward to bring you more exciting features and additions in the near future.

Update: TechEnclave Portal too is fully SEO'ized now. The URLs on portal are self explanatory and similar to those on Forums. Thats one more step forward. :clap: [23rd Sept. 2005]
 
First congratulations 2 TechEnclave!

For the last few Months,my web presence has been minimal,to say the the Truth - almost NIL

So there again,i was pleasently surprised when there was once again a NEW Tech-portal - "Tech-enclave"!

Now,i really wanted 2 know,in the few Past months,what really ensued behind the scene@Tech-Arena,where You were the members who built the web tech portal firsthand(though now not seen currenntly@TA),& what actually lead to re-emerge in this new form,particularly,when Tech-Arena was going so strong?

What Really happened,,,can any one better explain, wa it something to do with sandeep or what......so help me know the facts please as to better understand the sole purpose of yet another tech-forum like"TECH-ENCLAVE"

Anyway,wishing Luck & Best of Tech-journey 2 everyone @tech-Enclave team & its valuable members.

Also what happened to the dedicated hosting? Did you collect sufficient funds to have dedicated hosting service ?

the new skin's gay lol the "lite" blue silver rocks.. also nothng great about the portal skin either

love the dark skin, but have one teeny quibble - smilies seem to have a white background, which kinda clashes wid da dark skin...

Well yes that is coz of the edge matting for white background. So any of you has either a smiley pack for dark background or has a completely transparent edges smiley pack please let us know.

there is nothing grt about portal skin. And for a reason. Content and getting it crawled is more important then getting a heavy good looking skin.
Thats why the forums and portal are on silver which is light and fast skin. And its a custom skin exclusive to te.
Ofcourse we have 3 skins to give you choice if you don't like one.

Nice work with the portal and forum skins Quick [Safin and team], looks professional stuff. As always, couple of feedbacks:

» Get one SEF mambot, they still work with Joomla and they'll match perfectly with forum URLs.
» Joomla is more than just a CMS solution, try some interactive mambots and add-ons from http://demo.corephp.com
» You can avoid using Admin account for regular news posting, an Editor post looks professionally better with title like "Contributed/Posted by [NAME]"
» Irregular spacing between texts, hope you're using the advance text editor or the mosCE (still works with Joomla I guess..)
