How come the prices are twice as much if one pays in US$? Rs. 450 < US$10, it's not 20....

I'm just happy it's not $20 x 48 = 960 for 3 months :D

Well $20 for three months is way too expensive, especially so since sites like dA give a full year's subscription with a LOT of extra features for just $25. I think you guys should rethink the $ price if you seriously expect anyone to take the membership for that price. Just a suggestion.

^ Params, no the Admins did not go wrong with currency conversion.

The rates are there by design, we have consciously left the rates high for folks paying in Dollars.

Admin's have a genuine reason for the same.

Why is everyone getting caught up in the USD pricing of TE premium membership when it doesn't concern us? And it's not like the USD rates are lower than INR :S

I just don't get it... some of us wanted a way to help TE (at least I did) since we've gained so much from being a member here. Now we have a way to do that, but some people have a problem with the US pricing?

It wasn't there before, now it is, since we asked for it... let's be happy and pay up or shut up! :D

But if we do change our mind, we would inform you. Thanks for your interest.

There's a slight change in our Premium Terms and Conditions:

In place of -

Only In-post Ads & Google Ads would not appear - any other Ads for ex. Paid Ads in Section Headers would be present.

Now it reads -

Only In-post Ads would not appear - any other Ads for ex. Paid Ads and Google Ads in Section Headers would be present.
